I carved my very first light painting blade holder out of a plumbing pipe back in 2012, inspired by the groundbreaking work of Patrick Rochon. At the time, I only had a few small acrylic samples, 4x6", clear and colored. But that was enough to create my first images of this kind, including the One Step Ahead project.
